Atari XE Video Game System

Based on the Atari 8-bit computers range, the Atari XE Video Game System (Atari XEGS) was released in 1987 and tried to merge micros and consoles under a cute, pal coloured hood. Despite being pleasing to the eye, decently priced, interesting and backwards compatible it never set the world on fire.

Still, owning one is definitely worth the effort and price and any interested parties should have a look at this Atari XEGS eBay auction. The fully working console comes complete with keyboard, lightgun and four games: One-On-One Basketball, Fight Night, Bug Hunt and Flight Simulator II. Seller ships worldwide.
